In July 2018, The Prince’s Countryside Fund published our latest research, Recharging Rural. We received over 3000 responses to our #HaveYourSay survey, letting us know what challenges and obstacles people faced living in the countryside – but most importantly, how they were overcoming these issues.

That’s why we’ve decided to publish The Village Survival Guide. Based on the lived experience of rural residents from all across the UK, this book will help communities to tackle a multitude of issues and make sure that their community will thrive in the future.

Covering a range of topics from transport schemes to village pubs, the guide will help to bust confusing jargon – what exactly IS a CIC? – and bring communities together, providing inspiring examples of success.
